Australian Horse Industry Council
The Australian Horse Industry Council (AHIC) is a national representative body, serving the Australian horse industry. The main role of the AHIC is to provide a voice for the interests of horses and horse owners in national forums. Particular issues that are a focus of AHIC activities include horse health and welfare, personal safety, and any other issues that can have widespread effects across the horse industry.

Judith holds the position of Vice President of this progressive equine welfare organisation. Quest Equine Welfare Inc. is a not for profit charity making a meaningful difference in the lives of neglected and at-risk equines through direct intervention, education, community outreach, the raising of awareness, and through hands-on horse rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing.

Vets Beyond Borders is an Australian-based, not-for-profit, incorporated organisation established by veterinary volunteers in 2003. Vets Beyond Borders co-ordinates and runs veterinary based animal welfare and public health programs in developing communities of the Asia and Pacific region.
